Animal Interaction & Handling Waiver
This Animal Interaction & Handling Waiver outlines the terms and conditions for customers who wish to hold, pet, or otherwise interact with animals at Mowgli's World in Big Spring, Texas. Our goal is to provide a safe, enjoyable experience for our customers while ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our animals. By signing this waiver, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with handling live animals and agree to follow all instructions provided by Mowgli's World staff.
1. Assumption of Risk
I understand that handling, petting, feeding, or interacting with live animals involves inherent risks, including bites, scratches, pecks, pinches, allergic reactions, exposure to naturally occurring bacteria, and unexpected animal behavior. I voluntarily choose to interact with the animals at Mowgli's World and assume all risks associated with doing so.
3. Children
Children under 18 years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times. The parent or guardian accepts full responsibility for the child's actions and safety.
5. Damage to Animals
I understand that I may be financially responsible for any injury, illness, escape, or death of an animal caused by my negligence, intentional actions, or failure to follow staff instructions.
2. Customer Responsibilities

Follow all instructions provided by Mowgli's World staff.

Handle animals gently and respectfully.

Do not remove an animal from the designated area unless authorized by staff.

Do not chase, squeeze, frighten, or mistreat any animal.

Immediately notify staff if an animal appears stressed, injured, or escapes.

Wash or sanitize hands after handling animals.
4. Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and hold harmless Mowgli's World, its owners, employees, and representatives from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, or expenses arising from my voluntary interaction with any animal, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.
